Two mothers collaborate to bring you clothing, classes & community!
Sharla Lieberman and Linda Beugg are mothers that live in the neighborhood and who both have college and high school age children. When their children were young, they were regular shoppers at Kidstock, formerly known as Flapjacks.
Linda and Sharla loved the fact that they could recycle their children’s clothes, toys and books at a resale store which was within walking distance from their homes. Even before the “green revolution”, it made sense to buy resale, because their kids outgrew their clothes so quickly and frequently sought a “new and different” selection of toys and books.
When they heard that Kidstock was closing, they explored the idea of collaborating with other like-minded mothers in an effort to keep the store open. They decided to unite and transform the store into Earth Angels, which is still a resale store and much more!
Both Linda and Sharla missed interacting with young children. Therefore they created Earth Angels to provide a relaxed meeting place for families, offer delightful activities for children, and cultivate a conscious community space for the entire neighborhood!
Through the interplay of music, art, yoga and meditation, children will learn about kindness and concern for people, nature and the planet. Furthermore, parents will nurture this concern from a very young age in a calm engaging environment — a place that promotes patience, tolerance and social responsibility.
